Offer me the throne
Chained to the throne
I dance with the angels of Static
Offer me the throne
Chained to the throne
I swallow the future
Until I can't taste myself anymore
Offer me the throne
Chained to the throne
The prophecy
Never came true
Or maybe it did
This bliss
This endless bliss
I spiral
Until I can't taste myself anymore
Offer me the throne
Chained to the throne
This is my requiem
I dance with the angels of static
Offer me the throne
Sometimes I dream of a world
That doesn't exist
Sometimes in that world
I wake
SCENE 1 (We just need 1 hour for this, it will be for the very beginning and very end of the video)
First scene will start mimicking the ending scene of the movie.
Margarita in the same position with papers with sketches scattered everywhere
Eye open, camera zooms in on the eyes
As the Eyes close, camera cuts to the rain scene (as though it's now happening in her dream)
Location
We can also do a scene where the couch I'm laying on is right in front of the camera and the two guitarists are way in the background as silhouettes in the fog in the back
As the Eyes close, camera cuts to the rain scene (as though it's now happening in her dream)
I'm gonna modify these, will try to replicate the painting, but these are the outfits
Performance of the song and slow motion. We'll do a pass of each with no rain and far away camera, and a pass close up, and then same thing but with the rain. That way is can edit it so it's evolving, so the climax of the song will have the most rain...
STATIC CAMERA SHOT,
(I will be Splitting the screen in the edit so I don't think we can use the rain for tis one, I can just add some effect in post )
In the lyrics I say "I dance with the angels of static) so it will be almost like a hybrid of the dying swan, and this regal figure, but now the chains will be on the dancer. So I will basically dance around myself, with these "dying swan lake" movements, weighed down by the chains
We can also shoot Jamie with his acrylic drum set in the rain room
(we will probably film this first, before the rain scene, so we're not all wet)
The style of this I was thinking, instead of having everyone be in the same frame, we'll be spread out throughout the room, since it's pretty spacious, and Julian, you can move with the camera from each of us to the next in fluid motions, so it's kind of chaotic and smooth at the same time, a lot of circling shots, so it's almost like your head is going to be spinning
I'm gonna cover the piano with a bunch of sheer black fabric and maybe for one scene we can scatter r bunch of those paper sheets with the sketches like in the movie
In the editing, this will be at the end of the song, when it's pretty much the drum sample at the end.
It's as though the movie continues where now, we zoom in on the eyes and they open and she sits up and starts gathering her sketches, maybe with a glimmer of hope that maybe she'll choose another path
