Here is what Guitar International had to say:
“There is some tremendous guitar work on this CD... Edge Of Paradise is ready for the big time”
Metalholic.com Stated:
"Dave
Bates is the epitome of a guitar hero. Eddie Van Halen of this
generation with his own style, incredible technique and monster
shredding."
HardRockHaven.net stated:
"Guitarist,
Dave Bates is the epitome of sheer effortless virtuosity; this guy will
make all guitar players either Idolize or hate him, as there are very
few guitarists on this Earth that can shred like Bates. He has such
precision, such feel, tasty licks, rips solos so that every note is
meant to be exactly where it is. I honestly can say that I’ve seen the
best of guitarists, and he is one of the very best, period."
